Beautiful picture of you both. I would love a copy for our family photo album.
Thanks,
Maria
Hey Scott and Edie,
I am curious as to what the dress code for the wedding is. Scott ask Edie if you are unsure. Formal, semi formal, casual, or general wedding attire.... (steve wants to know if jeans are okay)lol We have talked to Noel about staying where he is, waiting on the info. Hope all is coming together for you both. If you ever want pictures of you other niece let me know I am sure I have some. This is our first time of not staying with you Scott hope we will be welcome back in the future. The boys are settling down more. Tyler is taller than me at almost 5'6" soon he will top Steve and Trevor is getting bigger too. Take care Kathleen
Maria,
You got it! Thanks so much. Scott's a great photographer, no? I think he set that one up with a timer.
Got your RSVP, too. Can't wait to see you again!
Edie
Kathleen, great question. Here are some brilliant insights on the "dress code" from the Mother of the Bride:
"I think of a Sunday late afternoon wedding as general wedding attire, semi-
formal. Woman will be in cocktail length dresses or dress skirts or slacks
and tops, men wear suits, maybe blazers. Boys usually wear dress slacks
and shirts, with or without jackets, depending on age and preference. Girls
wear party dresses, or skirts or dressy slacks with tops."
Edie
Dear Edie and Scott:
After bouncing around from one of our three addresses to the other we finally got your gorgeous invitation. Unfortunately we will be unable to attend your wedding but we send you much love and all our wishes for all of your dreams to come true.
Edie, when Melvin saw the picture of you the first thing he said was, "She looks just like Aunt Ida." I can't think of a better compliment. He still talks about her with much love even after all these years. Please send our love to your parents and know that we wish you all much happiness at this wonderful time.
Please keep us in mind for your next mitzvah. Love and xxxx"s Eileen and Melvin
